InterpretationInterlex provides both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services. Simultaneous interpretation is suitable for events that use several working languages. Consecutive interpretation is more appropriate for negotiations, receptions, notarisation of transactions, etc. If the topic is highly specialised, it is worthwhile to place the order as early as possible so that the interpreter can familiarise him- or herself more fully with the topic. The more reference materials you can provide, the better the service will be. Notarised translationsInterlex produces translations of official documents that are legally valid both internationally and domestically.These translations are prepared by sworn translators and trusted translators of notaries. The legal requirements differ for foreign documents used in Estonia, Estonian documents to be used abroad, and documents to be used in Estonia. Interlex is familiar with all of these and able to meet the associated requirements. LocalisationLocalisation denotes the translation of all kinds of documents – user manuals, software strings, multimedia materials, Web page content, and other materials – and their adaptation to the target cultural environment.Localisation is more versatile than standard translation, in that it involves adapting the material to suit the local culture so that the meanings are rendered correctly and unambiguously. |
